John Larnerd - head coach/owner -

John Larnerd is the Owner/Director of Fusion Goalie Development. John was

the Goalie School Director/Hockey Director of the Vineland Ice Arena for four

years. He has been coaching goalies Youth and Adults for 16 years. John

was the Emergency Back-Up Goaltender for the Atlantic City Boardwalk

Bullies, ECHL from 2003-05. John attended College at SUNY Cortland, NY, which plays in the SUNYAC, NCAA, DIV III Conference. He had a successful four year career as starting goaltender; he holds 3 SUNY Cortland records; Most Saves in a Season, Lowest Goals Against Average in a Season, and Most Saves in a Career. His studies focused on Sports Management.

Lance McCarty -

Lance McCarty is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Drexel University, class of 2009. He played 3 year of Juniors in the CHL and the IJHL Junior B for the Boston Junior Blackhawks. Lance went to the Junior B Nationals in 2005. Although he was never formally trained by John, both he and John share a common goal tending method and form, a fusion of multiple goal tending styles. John and Lance have now been working together for nearly 2 years. He is currently an employee at the Mt. Laurel Igloo and is the resident skate sharpener.

Mark Huston -

Mark Huston is a 2009 graduate of Rutgers University-Camden. His playing

experience includes one year of Juniors, and three years of Division III hockey.  In his Junior year at Rutgers he led the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference in Goals Against Average, leading the Scarlet Raptors to a conference championship berth. He has been training and coaching with

John Larnerd since 2003.

Johnny Park -

Johnny Park has been training with John Larnerd for 8 years and has instructed with him for the past 3.  He is also a head instructor at Kanaly Goaltender Training.  His playing experience includes Midget Minor AA for the Patriots, Midget Major AA for the Jaguars - leading them to the NJYHL district playoffs.  A year of Junior C for the Vineland Eagles - where he lead the league in GAA, save percent and shutouts, for the first half of the season.  He also played a year of Junior B for the same team.  Park is currently playing for Drexel University ACHA Division 1. 

Frank Figarole -

Frank is a graduate of Rutgers University-New Brunswick '09.  His playing experience consists of two years Varsity at St. Augustine Prep, one year of Juniors and four years (starter for three) of ACHA Division I college.  During his collegiate years, Frank lead all goalies in penalty minutes his freshman year and lead the league in goalie assists his sophomore and senior years.  He also, in his senior year at Rutgers, lead the Scarlet Knights to the NECHL final.  Frank has been training under John for 9 years and instructing with him for 6.  Frank enjoys dangling unsuspecting fore-checkers and setting up teammates for breakaways.


Marissa Angel -

Marissa Angel began her hockey career in Indiana, playing for the Chicago Chill AAA girl's travel team and her high school varsity team. Moving to New Jersey in 2006, she played for the Jaguars Midget Major AA boys hockey travel club, then finally the Princeton Tiger Lilies Tier 1 travel team. Now playing for the Robert Morris University Colonials, a division one program, she commends John Larnerd for sharing all his knowledge with her, teaching her a good portion of what she knows on (and off) the ice, and allowing her to be an instructor in his booming coaching career.
